Perched on a Paw- ORIGINAL

Splendid Fairy Wrens are one of my favourite little birds. This little cheeky guy was inspired by a picnic in the bush, as we sat down close by to some scrub and a patch of vibrant kangaroo paw plants, this little curious fella hopped around the paws, perching to keep a close watch on us whilst teittering away joyfully and playfully in the sunshine. Perched on a Paw celebrates the charm of native wildlife and flora, combining the striking shapes of the iconic kangaroo paw with the delicate beauty of one of Australia's most beloved birds. Rich coral reds, lush greens, and brilliant blues dance across a fresh turquoise background, creating a joyful and whimsical scene.

Intricate patterns and hand-drawn details bring the artwork to life, inviting the viewer to slow down and discover the small wonders hidden in nature. Full of colour, character, and Australian bushland magic, this piece is a cheerful reminder that beauty can often be found in the quietest moments.
